so, i'm terribly sorry if i'm not allowed to post this here, but i didn't see any rules against it. anywho! i have this idea for an equine roleplay. and at first i was just going to do it on my own, request the headers and whatnot, but then, with my idea that wouldn't really work.
basically, i want to do a different kind of equine roleplay. the idea is just in its baby stages, i just thought it up a few minutes ago, but anyway.

i was thinking about incorporating some fantasy into it, or maybe having it all be fantasy, i'm not entirely sure.

basically, the main board would just be for the basics. rules, plot, all the lovely OOC stuff. it'd also be for the cbox and whatnot. then, it would have links somewhere obvious for the other forums. each forum would be for a herd. my thinking is it would allow us to, a) get very, very organized with the boards and get really in-depth with the herd lands, b) be really organized when it comes to the herds, who's in charge, etc. and c) we could have a personalized skin and header for each herd, which i think would be cool.

now, i'm not sure what the herds would be. maybe different species, or different beliefs so that the species could intermingle, i'm not entirely sure. i'm open for ideas! i'm good with HTML and i can skin, but really, i need people to help me with graphics (which i cannot, for the life of me, handle, at least for animal roleplays) and well, to help me come up with ideas, set up the boards and the lands, and then help me run it when it's finally ready.

i know it sounds kind of weird, but i think it could be really interesting, and hopefully successful. but it would be CRAZY hard to do on my own.

so this thread is asking for anyone who wants to be staff; i think maybe i'll have one base admin for each herd, and then i'll be the main admin over all of them. and then moderators are also welcome.

or, if you don't want to be staff, opinions and ideas are totally welcome. like, what do you want in a fantasy equine board like this? what do you want to see? what could go wrong?

May I recommended this host. Its different than proboards, but you can do EXACTLY what you want on it. The host is a person, not a company, so you would have to run your idea by her, and if she likes it, she will host you and help you with it as much as possible. I am a member of a site made on her hosting, and I ABSOLUTELY love it. Eventually I will move my two sites to her server, but since they are both a couple of years old, and that is a LARGE task, Im procrastinating lol. BUT starting from scratch is a different story... I think this host will be good for you and your idea ^_^

hmmm, i was planning on doing it on invisionfree, mainly because i know how to skin (though i still have to look at tutorials and guess and check, haha) on it and i know the coding, and you can use dohtml on it. =] and i really don't want to be completely lost on another server. D8 thanks mucho for that suggestion though!
