 We are happy to welcome you to our school. It is a great privilege to attend such a fine school, and with our recent changes in academics, you'll find that it is a better place to attend. We offer a range of activities and classes which will surely meet your needs, and while we may have had some mishaps in the past, we are proud to present Durmstrang Institute.
At Durmstrang the students are divided into two groups after their first year. The first year at the school is the most important of all years because it determines which group you will be placed in for the next six years -- and once you're in that group, the deed is done. For some it is a time to step up and give it your all ... as for those that don't care and wish to be placed in whatever house, its a time for slacking and nonchalantness.
The two groups are Wasser and Feuer.
Due to certain problems in the past, the Ministry has enforced one of its own employees to check up and observe Durmstrang every once in a blue moon to make sure everything is working up to date. Changes may be made randomly throughout the school year, and we apologize in advance if this affects your learning experience. Though needless to say, any changes made by Ministry officials must have some sense value ... at least, we hope. |
