I've worked on this site of mine for about a week now and it's finally done! So, I would like anyone who happens upon this thread to critic and review it. This site is now my pride and joy, so don't go bashing it.

I don't have any threads on it, nor do I have all the sub boards and statistics tables finished, but overall its 8/10 of being done. So, review away, even if the only thing to review is the layout/skin/plot. xP

Overall it is very pretty. It lacks color though, kinda hurts the eyes to try and read on white, but Im dyslexic, normal people may not have that problem ^^

I love it. xD Bottom line. Not many wolf forums have a easy colouring as this. The peachy colouring goes perfect with the header. I do have one thing to say however, to make it look nicer. Use the background pattern and crop it to an 'Open' affiliate button. It makes it a whole lot prettier, and nicer to look at than a black aff.

Thanks for the critic. Though, it was supposed to be kinda saturated and what not because the theme is icy.

VISUAL

You have a beautiful looking site that gives off a very professional feel. I was pleased with everything because it looks extremely organized and if I'm a sucker about anything, it's organization. However.

• Background Image/Colour - Although the background image/colour is just dandy how it is on the eyes for very short periods of time, a lot of people spend a lot of time on a site replying and the like. People like myself that are sensitive to the bright colours on forums might just haul butt out of there without giving the site a real chance. I might suggest darkening the back ground some more so that not only your border around the forums stands out, but it will overall make things a little easier on the eyes.
  
  
• Board Descriptions - There isn't too much information here, in fact, it's just right. However, the spacing between each letter forced my reading to slow and with the added effect of my awful eyes forced my brows to stitch together as I tried to focus on reading the board descriptions rather than my oncoming headache. X3 One thing you might even consider doing if you're just really wanting to keep the length (because I understand the spacing with that) is to create a transparent text image for each board description. You can easily adjust the sizes not to mention the type of font and none would be the wiser if it was indeed transparent. Although, there might be easier ways of going about changing things up a bit, this is the way that popped into my head first. XD

RULES/ETC

I love the tables around your rules, it's an interesting and lovely addition. Also, the wolf information is just as useful as your rules. Although I understand that the wolves on your site are slightly different than normal wolves, threads like yours explaining those differences are helpful.

• Rules - You have very few rules on your site, I've noticed. From personal experience this can lead to an awful lot of dangers not only with member interactions but character interactions as well. However, I'm a strong believer in people learning through their own mistakes so I'd rather not give you hints on what you can expect. XD - It should prove to be interesting and fun... sort of.
  
  Also - I would like to let you know that the darker blue around the rules helped tremendously with the visuals, my head didn't hurt while reading them.

I see what you mean by the rules. I've looked them over before and they seemed alright, but now that I've looked at over sites, I've seen my mistakes. xD I've already rushed over to fix 'em.

Also, I understand the lighter colors CAN be sore on the eyes. It just fit in with my icy theme, I guess. The site was originally gonna have blacks and grays, but they didn't fit, so I had to change. Thanks about the background tip, though it use to be much brighter than it is now. And I'm glad you liked the darker table around the rules, etc. I made 'em for those important threads. <3 I love them so.

Yes, I did. Though, it took me tons of nights because I couldn't decide what I wanted. I went through like three or four manips that night, making me stay up. ;D
