Hi! I'm Rosalynne, more commonly known as Rose. I actually have only been interested in Graphics for about a year, but I'd love to know more. Right now I have done some small things for a few of the sites I'm own, but I haven't done anything really amazing so far (that I'm aware of).
Some things I have done:
Pic one Pic two Pic three
Right now I use a really old version of Paint Shop Pro from about 15-16 years old at least. I'm actually looking to get a new program, but have no idea where to start. I'm not sure what to get, and I don't want something really expensive. I've seen some programs go up into the thousands range when it comes to the price tag, which I really don't want to have to pay that much. So if anyone has an idea of what to get that would be a great help to me!
Another thing that I would love to learn how to do is how to create layouts, and their codes. I know a friend has a site (and maybe sometime in the future I might make my own) that might be in need of a layout or two.

Welcome, Rose!!
So glad you've entered into the graphics-making realm. I've been doing graphics for about half a year and love seeing people improving their skills!
If you want any advice on your current graphics, I’d say use cleaner cutting (but don’t ask me how to, I use the old-fashioned, manual way) and ‘blend’ the images a little more. Otherwise they’re great considering you’ve only started manipping.
And as for what program to get… I’m not the one to ask as I use Gimp. Anyways, again welcome to Charismatic Studios!

Well it's nice to meet ya! And I have no idea how to blend, so maybe that would be a good place to start. I seem to be making a list of things to learn already.

For me, 'blending' would be the color scheme basically. Making sure the background and animal/human subject fit. One thing that really helps is finding the light source in a background and using it to paint over parts of the subject, giving everything slight shadows, etc.
